Lynn Bains

  • Biography

    Born in New York, Lynn has lived and worked in Scotland for over 40 years.

    She has been accent coach for nearly every American play at Pitlochry Festival Theatre since 1989. Singing in the Rain, High Society and Chicago were her most recent shows. She has also worked regularly at The Royal Lyceum, Dundee Rep, and Perth Theatre. She is a founder of Stellar Quines, one of Scotland's most prestigious touring companies.

    Lynn was Head of Acting at Queen Margaret University for fifteen years and retired from full time teaching in 2005 to pursue her busy freelance career. She continues to teach Acting and Accents at MGA Musical Theatre Academy in Edinburgh. Hard to believe, but she still loves teaching!
